The weather is horrible. I hate it. This is our third day of 100+ temps. Today I saw 102F/39C. But tonite we had a severe storm rage though here. We had high winds then heavy rains but did not rain a lot all totaled. And it went from 102F to now it is 77F/25C. Ah. But triple digits again tomorrow. While it was hot there was not even a slight breeze to be had. In Wichita there was a huge storm that shut down a major highway. It was called a ‘white out’. Visibility was nil. They said it was a strong down burst. The hail flattened all plants. The winds blew semi’s off the road & flipped them over. Not a good thing but luckily, no one was hurt.
I stayed home yesterday, mostly in bed. Forced myself to get up & out today. […]
